Nadar's career began in the late 1960s when he joined a leading engineering firm in Pune after completing his engineering degree from PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore. However, his true calling came when he co-founded HCL (Hindustan Computers Limited) in 1976, along with a group of colleagues, with the vision of producing indigenous computer products and services in India.


Under Nadar's leadership, HCL evolved from a startup into one of India's leading IT services companies, pioneering the Indian IT industry. He played a crucial role in shaping HCL's culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, which became integral to the company's success.
